Anyone who does not have experience using kettlebells will need to attend the intro class. Here you will have the technique broken down for you and be coached in the correct movement patterns to ensure good form and technique.

Coaching in kettlebell technique is an ongoing process and one of the main benefits of choosing to train with the Bristol Kettlebell club.

What will I learn at the induction?

  • The swing and its variations - This is where it all starts, the kettlebell swing is the foundation from which everything else builds on, this one will get your heart pumping and build endurance and stamina that just won’t quit.
  • The silverback deadlift - Build strength from head to toe with this full body exercise that hits virtually every muscle in your body.
  • The Turkish get up - Another full body exercise, great for the shoulders and abs!
  • The Goblet squat - If you want to get the most out of training you gotta do your squats!
  • The Clean&Press - Banging up your forearms is a sign of bad technique, learn how to perform the clean&press safely and effectively
  • The Military press - Learn how to press way more weight than you thought possible just by adding in some muscle tension trickery

On completition of the intro class you will be able to attend our group kettlebell sessions at either the Bristol or Portishead locations.

Bristol classes – Mon/Wed/Fri – 6-7pm and Mon/Wed – 7-8pm at Ashton park school.

Portishead classes – Tue/Thur – 7-8pm, Sat 9-9:45am at Lake grounds (weather dependent) or Gordano school
